45 # steel plate is a high-quality carbon structural steel plate.

1、 Ingredient characteristics

It mainly contains elements such as iron, carbon, silicon, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus, etc. The carbon content is about 0.42% -0.50%, and the manganese content is between 0.50% -0.80%. The silicon content is 0.17% -0.37%, and the sulfur and phosphorus content is relatively low, generally not exceeding 0.035%.

2、 Performance characteristics

Moderate strength: After appropriate heat treatment, it has good strength and hardness, with a tensile strength generally around 600MPa and a yield strength of about 355MPa.

Good machining performance: With excellent cutting performance, it can perform machining operations such as turning, milling, planing, drilling, etc.

Good weldability: Welding can be carried out under appropriate welding processes.

Relatively low price: Compared to some alloy steels, the cost is more economical.
